LA painter: Amber Shields
Just wanted to make a quick post of some new work by Amber Shields, an LA based Painter. What I love about her new stuff is that it’s such a great reflection on the happenings of her life right now. For instance, her work on comic books has been taking off — and you can really see that reflected in the style of these pieces. As well as that she’s paying homage to the “art of lingerie” after a huge gig that she’s recently had doing art for a prominent Los Angeles lingerie company (see below). And lastly, her love of a very lucky, abandoned dog that she adopted – a beautiful white, wolf-like crossbreed of some sort. So cool to see it all come to life in these pieces.
