A 19-minute documentary about one experiment performed by
Dr. Ann Kiessling at the Bedford Stem Cell Research Foundation.
The experiment is one in a series taking the first look at
Human Parthenogenic Stem Cells in the United States. Dr. Kiessling
reveals new insight into this controversial science as she
prepares to “activate” three human eggs. Dr. Kiessling
and collaborating scientist, Dr. Jose Cibelli, discuss the
early stages of embryonic development, the scientific method,
and the day-to-day life of a biologist.
Free Samples
From the mind of writer/director Nick Weiss comes a fresh take on the black-and-white silent comedy.
The film tells the story of Milton, an unworldly, yet good-natured bum who finds his way into a local organic supermarket and discovers something earth-shattering: these people are giving away free samples of food! The staff is so hospitable and the samples so free that Milton feels welcome to move into the store and live off of the cheese slabs and tortilla strips (and pursue the pretty girl who restocks the tomatoes and endive).
Shot on lush 16mm film and set to an original soundtrack (also by Weiss), “Free Samples” is part fairy tale and part hero quest, drifting from reality into dreams and hallucination.

Heads Or Tails
A 30 minute, High Definition movie written and directed by Dan Prussmann and produced by his company, Finger Frame Pictures.
Heads or Tails is a whimsical tale of an eight
year-old boy's journey to test his luck. This short film is
an Emerson College Graduate Master's Project.
